Zenna M. Murphy
Age 70

Zenna M. Murphy, age 70, of # 16 School Road, Irondale died at home on Saturday, January 12, 2007, after a lengthy illness.

The daughter of the late Tom and Margaret Mae Jones Patterson, she was born in East Liverpool on October 17, 1937 and lived her entire life in this area. She had worked as a Finisher at the former Sterling China, retiring in 1992.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Murphy, who she married in 1984, two sons, Randy Boyce and Alan Carpenter of Spencer, W.Va. Four daughters, Mrs. George Karen Morris Jr. of Wellsville, Theresa, Donna and Pam of Spencer, W.Va.. Two Step daughters, Toni Mellott of East Liverpool and Judy Murphy of Salineville. Two sisters, Ruth Russell of Kentucky, and Mrs. Charlie Helen Handley of Wisconsin. 25 grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy and a Sister Edna Pinkerton.

Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rick Dawson of the Boyce Methodist Church officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the Wellsville Chapel on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

Zenna will always be in our hearts. Everytime we think of her

we’ll remember all the good tines

we’ve shared.I know she’ll always be watching over us from Heaven above so we’llalways have her love.
