Worley V. Eddy, 74, of Highland Avenue, Moundsville, died Sunday, August 26, 2001 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, GlenDale, WV.
He was a retired foreman with the former Triangle Conduit Cable Company in GlenDale, an Army veteran of World War II and a Protestant by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna ”Maxine” Doyle Eddy; his mother, Ethel Reed Eddy and a brother Russell Eddy.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald ”Dean”Bobbie Eddy and ”David” Ray Eddy all of Moundsville; his father, Marvin Alex Eddy of Moundsville, four grandchildren, Mrs. Kevin Tammy Smith of Moundsville, Mrs. Shane Missy Helms of Newport News, VA, Mrs. John Hope Postle of Scott Depot, WV and Bradley Eddy of Morgantown, WV, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friend recieved 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 29, 2001 with Evangelist Bernard Crow officiating. Interment will be held in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.
