Winifred J Palkovich

Winifred J. Palkovich, 91, of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, April 17, 2015 at her home. She was born March 22, 1924 a daughter of the late Peter and Julie Maier Littner in Pittsfield Mass. She was a Secretary for both the West Virginia Department of Welfare and the West Virginia Northern Community College. She was a lifetime member of the DAV Auxillary, loved animals and supported many local and national organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Joseph Palkovich Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Donna John Clark of Wheeling, WV, and Lorraine Randall Precek of Springfield, OH; a sister, Millicent Albert Miller of Ballston Lake, NY as well as three grandchildren Julie Blake, Nicholas and Christopher Precek and four great grandchildren Skyler, Janessa, Romeo and Jamarri. In accordance with her wishes no formal visitation will be held. A private internment will be held at the Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery.
