William W. Allison
William W. Allison, 86, of Yeager Drive, East Liverpool, Ohio died Sunday, August 11, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Chester, West Virginia on July 29, 1916, the son of the late Holter and Norma Bailey Allison and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Allison worked as a crane operator at the former Crucible Steel Company in Midland, PA for 37 years. He was a graduate of Chester High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
His wife, Clara E. Haught Allison, whom he married in 1946, died
January 7, 1985.
He is survived by a son, Robert Allison of Alamogordo, New Mexico; a sister, Francis Hornick of Chester, West Virginia; 6 grandchildren and
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, William Allison and a sister, Elsie Justice.
Private family services were held at Columbiana County Memorial Park on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 with Rev. Allen Drake from Calcutta United Presbyterian Church officiating.
