William P. Zonker

WILLIAM P. ZONKER, 67, of Freeport, Ohio, died Sunday April 7, 2002, at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was born December 22, 1934 at Wheeling, WV., a son of the late Thurmond and Mary Mozden Zonker.
Bill was a retired inspector for the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co., Martins Ferry Plant.
He was a member of the Deersville United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Thurmond Zonker.
Surviving are his wife Kathryn Baxter Zonker, a son, William L. Zonker of Colerain, Ohio, two daughters, Vicki Ickler of Colerain, Ohio and Susan Zonker of Martins Ferry, Ohio, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Friends will be received 2 PM to 4 PM, and 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Charles Bennett officiating.
Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
