Bonnie & Family,

Although I met Hobbs only 6 years ago, I feel I’ve known him all my life. He made me feel right at home when I joined the Metro Seniors and I will always treasure his friendship. Peggy & I will miss him greatly.

To Hobbs’ Family,

Although five years younger than Hobbs, I have known him since he returned to Maury after World War II and graduated with the Class of ’47. Hobbs was a much closer friend to my brother Jim, who died five years ago. He was a delightful person. You have my sympathy. Am in Vermont and am unable to attend the funeral service.
