I’d like to extend my heart-felt condolences to the Willie Galvin family. I thoroughly enjoyed the time Willie and I worked together at the Torpedo Facility in Charleston in 1986 to 1988. In later years, we re-connected and I discovered his passion for bicycling and the MS Society. Willie was a compassionate man and he’ll be missed.

In addition, I’d like to extend the condolences of my Uncle Ben and Aunt Gerry Brackin of Oregon. Ben and Willie were ‘Plank Owners’ and commissioned the USS PATRICK HENRY SSBN 599 together. I understand they used to meet at some of the reunions and tell some of the sea stories from the early days. The Brackins will keep Willie’s family in their prayers.
