WILLIAM G. COOK
AGE: 51
William G. Cook, 51, of Swickard Street, East Liverpool, died in the Emergency Room at East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday, December 14, 2001 after becoming ill suddenly at home. He was born in East Liverpool on June 24, 1950, a son of the late Jack A. Cook and Dorothy Coffman Cook.
Mr. Cook was a lifetime resident of this area graduating from Beaver Local High School in 1968. He retired from the Lordstown Plant of General Motors in 2000 after working there for thirty years.
He is survived by his wife: Joie Brewer Cook, whom he married September 5, 1981, a son: William Eric Cook and his wife, Marcy of Lisbon, OH; a daughter: Lisa Barr and her husband Travis of Leetonia, OH; two brothers: John Cook of Concord, New Hampshire and Mint Cook of Lisbon, OH; one sister: Colleen Savors and her husband, Gerald of Negley, OH and five grandchildren: Chelsea Faloba and Alexis Faloba of Leetonia, OH, Joshua Cook and Marissa Cook of Lisbon, OH and Tanner Barr of Leetonia, OH.
Beside his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister: Charlotta Hensley.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Don Maltrich, a friend of the family, officiating.
Burial will follow in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2001 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
