William E. "Bill" Rice, 18, of Benwood died March 28, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident. He was a son of Mark G. and Mary Ann Burkett Rice. He was a senior at John Marshall High School and a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Wheeling. Bill liked to hunt and fish and was interested in auto body repair. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Grace Rice. Surviving are a brother Derek C. Rice; two sisters, Ashley N. and Candice B. Rice; maternal grandparents, William E. and Ilse E. Burkett,; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Deacon,

Man, there’s not enough words to heal the pain. I wish I could be physically there for you. The thougts and prayers of Brenda, Desiree, Shelby, Craig and myself are with you and the rest of your family.
