A great and fun Godfather. I was always proud of my Uncle “The Mayor”.
Barb I am so sorry about your dad.I did not know he had passed until the other day. I can still hear him yelling when I walked across the stage for graduation. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He will be missed.
Barb, I’m so sorry I was unable to attend the service. I want you to know how much respect I held for your Father. His integrity and leadership were among his many virtues. He and your mom always treated me so well. God bless them both.
Bill & Diane, my thoughts are with you both. May your memories sustain you through this time. Sorry that I won’t be in town next week Bill, but I will be thinking of you each day.
Bill and Barb,
I was deeply saddened upon hearing of your fathers passing. He was a great, honest man, whom I admired and always looked up to with the utmost respect. Please accept my prayers and sincere condolences to you and your family.
Bill and Barb, please accept my sympathy and condolences for the loss of your dad. I have fond memories of your parents they were both nice and “good” people. I feel fortunate to have grown up in our neighborhood.
Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Rita Warsinsky Burnham
Bill Thanks for giving me a job for the city in the Water Dept, while being laid off from the Steel Mill Sure did help my family.
My Prayers, God Bless your family.
I had the pleasure of serving breakfast for many years to both Mayor Kerns and his beloved wife Maise, at Mitchell’s restaurant. Both were very dear people, and will be reunited again, hopefully they will get Bill’s pancakes cooked right and Maise is still ordering from QVC.Forever in the memory of a few servers from Mitchells. God Bless them both.
You will be deeply missed by our family, Mayor, especially your little “Torpedo Squadron One”.
My deepest sympathy goes to Barb and Bill and family. Your Dad was a good man.
