William C. Shuttlesworth

William C. Shuttlesworth, 70, of McMechen, Wv died Dec. 12, 2001. He was a cable operator with the former Capitol Radio and TV; a Navy veteran of the McMechen American Legion, Post # 5; the VFW and a member of the Benwood/McMechen Housing Authority. He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Nellie F. Spencer Shuttlesworth; and a brother, Richard Shuttlesworth. Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Anderson Shuttlesworth; a son, William Shuttlesworth, Jr. of Columbus, Oh; two daughters, Cathy Thoms and Mrs. LarryTerry Defibaugh, all of McMechen; a sister Dorothy George Tribett of McMechen; and five grandchildren. Friends recieved friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM. Intermenet in the McMechen Cemetery.
