Willard Fulmer, 70, of Votaw Drive, Guilford Lake, Lisbon, Ohio died, Sunday, June 2, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio following an extended illness.
He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on April 15, 1932, the son of the late Harry William and Mary Elizabeth Hall Fulmer.
Living his entire life in the area, Mr. Fulmer worked as a tool grinder for McIntosh Hemphill, retiring in 1982. He was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed bowling on the Monday Senior League at Tri States Lanes, also bowling at Friendly Lanes and Forest Lanes in Hanoverton, Ohio. Mr. Fulmer enjoyed playing golf in a league at Eagle Pass and enjoyed working on antique cars.
His first wife, Shirley Annette Wells Fulmer died in 1992.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Farnsworth Fulmer, whom he married September 3, 1994.
He is survived by two daughters, Lynn Wycoff and her husband, Terry of Glenmoor and Terri Fulmer of Glenmoor; two brothers, Harold Fulmer of Logansport, Indiana and Ralph Fulmer of East Sparta, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Hofmann of Salem, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Wycoff, Darcy Wycoff and Amy Wycoff all of Glenmoor; six step-children; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Meeks.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at 1:00 PM with Rev. William F. Lawson of Trinity Friends Church in Lisbon, Ohio, officiating.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park where the Tri State Burial group will accord full military honors.
The family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel today, Tuesday, June 4, 2002 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
