Dear Aunt Myrt, Gloria, and Joy,

I’m writing to express my sorrow to you in the death of Weldon. I’m sorry, but Margaret and I are in Macon, GA visiting her brother, Fletcher, who is in the hospital.

Our hearts and prayers are with you all. “Aunt Myrt”, I love you, and pray that the Lord will give you peace in all of this.

My heart goes out to all of Bubba’s family, especially Aunt Myrt. I have so many memories… of the Corvette Uncle Neal drove up for him at his graduation shower… of playing basketball with him so many times… of sharing a verse with him that he claimed for his own I Cor. 16:15…

May God hold you in the palm of His hand and comfort you with the Holy Spirit!

Myrt and Family,

Our hearts and prayers are with you. We know that Weldon is in heaven singing those old gospel hymns that he loved so much.

Our memories of Weldon go all the way back to my high school years. Mom and I are proud to say that that Weldon was our friend.

God will be your source of comfort. He promises to never forsake or leave us.

Love and deepest sympathy,

Dee and Sybil

Our hearts go out to the family of Weldon. I grew up with him in the Norfolk Church. He was an outgoing and friendly person. We became close as young adults. He will be truly missed.

We were so sorry to hear about Weldon. We both have known him since our high school days over 35 years ago. I had good memories of football with him.
