Wanda I. Reed
Wanda I. Reed, 84 of East Liverpool, OH died Monday, July 3, 2006 at the Nentwick Convalescent Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Wellsville, OH on September 7, 1921, a daughter of the late Edward E. and Nell Irene Bartram James.
Living her entire life in this area, she was a member of the former First Evangelical Church in Wellsville. She was a former Steward of the church, Pianist of the church and a member of the Missionary Society.
Her husband, Carl W. Reed, whom she married on February 14, 1942, died on April 25, 1989.
She is survived by a son: Douglas Mike Reed and his wife, Mollie of Hammondsville, OH; four grandchildren: Michelle Webster and her husband, Terry of Salineville, OH, Sheri Cronin and her husband, Jason of Hammondsville, Douglas Michael Reed, Jr. of South Carolina and Marcus Reed of Summitville, OH as well as three great grandchildren: Hope & Alexis Cronin of Hammondsville and Marcus Z. Reed of Summitville, OH.
Besides her parents and husband, a brother, Edwin D. James and a sister, Betty Hanlon preceded her in death.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ officiating.
The Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
