Kulpa, Wanda E. Zabek, 81, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of 4604 Eoff Street, South Wheeling, died Saturday, January 08, 2005.
She was born December 24, 1923 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Demboski Zabek.
She was former employee of the dietary department at Ohio Valley Medical Center, a member of the former St Ladislaus Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies Guild of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, an avid bowler and member of the PRCU Lodge of Chicago, Ill.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter V. Kulpa in 2002, one brother, Matthew Zabek.
Surviving is two daughters, Lora L. Kociban and her husband Andrew of Wheeling; Kathleen McGee and her husband Mark of Wheeling; one son, Christopher J. Kulpa and his wife Sondra of Wheeling; six grandchildren, Michael Kociban and his wife Dawn, Jason Kociban, Christian Means and her husband Bob, Chad Kulpa and his wife Angel, Amanda McGee and Ryan McGee; three great-grandchildren, Tevin Kociban, Bryanna Kociban and Kelsey Kociban.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy and mass at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2005 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Frank O

I just heard of your Mother’s passing and wish to extend to all of the family our deepest condolences.
Wanda had been at a number of the masses I’ve said at 1:30 Sunday at the OVMC. I’ll be saying a mass for her this week at the Wheeling Jesuit Chapel.
