Candi, Dana, and Leslie,

On behalf of our members we send our sincere condolences on the loss of our dear friend, Wanda. She and Yates were longtime members and friends of those of us in the mapping and charting community. We will always remember her warmth and caring presence among us, especially those of us who were able to visit her and Yates at “The Farm.” Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your families.

Dear Dana, Candy, and family-

I am sorry that I did not hear about your Mom until after the memorial service had already been held.

She was a lovely woman of whom I have some treasured memories that I will always cherish.

I will keep Wanda and all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

No matter how old, a parent’s death is always really unexpected in one’s life. The loss of your dear mother will always be with you, but may the many fond memories you each hold onto light the darkness of your grief. Now, is the time of saying farewell, cherishing her memory, and hugging each other tight. May God hold your breaking hearts in His loving hands.
