Walter P. Mielcarek

MIELCAREK, Walter P, 91, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 in Lansing, Ohio.
He was born May 6, 1916 in Wheeling, a son of the late Michael and Anna Kudla Mielcarek.
He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, and a former employee of Blaw Knox Rolls and Mull Machine.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine T. Mielcarek, four brothers, Bernard, Stanley, John and Michael, two sisters, Helen and Michaeline.
Surviving is two children, Walter P. Mielcarek Jr. and his wife Lynn of McAllen, TX;
Marcia Masters and her husband James of Lansing; one brother, Chester Mielcarek of Lexington, KY; one sister, Eleanor Robatasin of St. Clairsville, OH; four grandchildren and one great grandchild, Haley.
Friends received 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Wheeling, with Rev. Frank O’Kruta as celebrant.
Entombment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
