Dear Ethel Lynn and Brenda,

I am so sorry to learn of your mother’s death. She was truly one of the kindest women and always asked about us when she talked with my Mom. My mother really loved her and considered her a friend. She always talked to me about the conversations they would have. I would occasionally see her when I went to church in the ELO area. Ruth was beautiful inside and out and I hope that there is at least a grandchild who has some of her wonderful characteristics. I often think of our time back in East End and how many different routes we all went. Ethel Lynn, my brother Chuck’s mother in law has been a patient in the nursing home that you run but we didn’t know that you were there until Bonnie told us last week. What a small world it is. I hope that you are both doing well and that God brings you comfort as you grieve for your mother. I thank her for all of her sweet memories that she brought me over the years.

I’m in Arkansas now, married to a very nice man; we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year. I was at the National Student Nurse Association convention in Dallas when Bonnie sent word about your mother’s passing; I was unable to come to ELO but please know that you were in our prayers. If you’ll send me your addresses 1106 Golf Course Dr; Searcy, AR 72143, I’ll put you on our Christmas card list and try to at least connect with you that way. I hope the service went well and you can cherish the many positive memories of both your parents.

In Him – Cathie

E.Lynn,

My sorrow is with you now and always. Your mom was an earth angel. What a beautiful, gentle spirit she had and I am proud to have been a part of her life.

I will miss her dearly.

Please forgive me for not being at her funeral. I have been ordered to bedrest due to exhaustion and streph throat.

My prayers and love I send to you today.

Please email me your home mailing address. The rest of our family is asking for it.

Love,

Bonnie and Bill and families

Many years ago, Virginia helped babysit our children. She was such a sweetheart, and always was so pleasant. We really enjoyed her. I would see her occasionally in recent years, as she was helping folks as a Senior Aide. She was so kind to so many – and will be fondly missed. Our sincere sympathies to her loved ones.
