Virginia M. Culp, 70 of Mary Street, East Liverpool, OH died at East Liverpool City Hospital on Thursday, November 20, 2008 following a brief illness. She was born in Midland, Pennsylvania on June 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Antonio and Esperanza Calderon Gutierrez.

Living her entire life in this area, she was a graduate of Midland High School and a member of St. Aloysius Community Parish. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Her husband, Charles L. Culp, whom she married on August 11, 1961 survives her at home.

One son: Steven B. Culp and his wife, Andrea of Wellsville, OH; one daughter: Shirley Flati and her husband, Fred of East Liverpool, OH; five sisters: Rose Marie Betters and her husband, Jim of Aliquippa, PA, Dolores Hicks and her husband, Al of Frankfort, OH, Helen Thorpe of Ocala, FL., Tona` Waite of Falls Church, VA and Anita Bedeovich of Monaca, PA as well as three grandchildren: Hunter and Chase Flati and Emily Culp survive her.

Besides her parents, three brothers: Terry Gutierrez, Emmanuel Gutierrez and Robert Gutierrez and one sister: Shirley Woody preceded her in death.

Mrs. Culp’s wishes were to have no visitation or service.
