Virginia Lee Garrison, 73, went to be with the Lord July 11, 2009. She is the daughter of the late Walter and Hilda Munford. She was born in Norfolk on July 31, 1935. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Garrison, Sr.

She is survived by her children Stephanie Garrison and Billy Gene Garrison, Jr.

The family will receive friend’s Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 5–7 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 11:00AM in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Dear Stephanie and Scott,

I am sorry for your lost. I hope your are doing okay at this time of hardship.I would like to see you guy’s before you leave. I plan to try making the graveside service. I have a little time strain Wednesday morning. I hope to see you and tell you in person I feel for you. I know Bill and Virginia always want to chase us away. Stephanie and Scott,

I was sorry to hear the news of your mother’s passing. Those years of holiday get-togethers are the source of fond childhood memories for me. I’m sorry I cannot attend the memorial service. I’ll be there in spirit.
