Virginia Lee Freeburn, born January 8, 1932 in Princess Anne County, died peacefully in her home June 27, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Bertie Flanagan, her son Mark Jeffrey Freeburn, her sisters; Mary Louise Silmon and Florence Davis and her brother Walter Flanagan. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Carman Freeburn, daughter Susan Chambers Bill, sisters; Ruth Rylance and Barbara Hembree, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Virginia was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed feeding her doves and squirrels that lived outside her home. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends who loved her. There will be a visitation July 2, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm with a service to follow in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Va. Carman and Family, We are so blessed to have known Ginny and will miss seeing her in the neighborhood. We enjoyed our visits talking and sharing stories with her. She was a very special lady. You are all in our prayers. Love, Sandy and Danny
