Kelley, Virginia Lee, 95, of Galion, Ohio, formerly of Key, Ohio, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Olentangy Woods, Galion, Ohio. She was born October 21, 1918 in Cambridge, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy and Edna Luikert Workman.
Virginia was a member of the Belmont Presbyterian Church in Key and had retired from the G.C.Murphy Company in Bellaire where she had worked in personnel.
In addition to her parents Virginia was preceded in death by her brother Atleigh Workman and her sister Mary Ellen Williams.
Virginia is survived by her son Danny and his wife Sharon of Galion, Ohio. Grandchildren include Craig, Jeff, Brad, and Briana. Several great grandchildren complete the family.
Friends will be received Monday, November 4, from 4 to 8 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, where services will be held Tuesday, November 5 at 1:00 pm with Dr. Stan Fedyszyn officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Key, Ohio.

Danny, My dad Ralph Mehl was your mom’s cousin….he was Ocie Workman Mehl’s son. I live on the home place, the farm near Hornick, Iowa. I am so sorry that I did not keep up the correspondence with your parents when my mom died in 2009. It is hard when when one is busy raising children. What is your address so I can write you?
