Virginia C. “Ginney” Seevers, 66, of Bellaire, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Trinity East Hospital Steubenville, Ohio.

Ginny was born September 19, 1941 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of Elizabeth Marling Thomas of Bellaire and the late Bill Thomas.

She was retired from the former Stone and Thomas Department Store of Wheeling, a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Bellaire, Ohio, a member of the American Legion Post #52 Auxiliary and the Bellaire Eagles Aerie #371 Auxiliary both of Bellaire, Ohio.

Preceding her in death was her husband Robert W. Seevers, a brother, Gregory “Pecky” Thomas and a niece Megan Canter.

Surviving are her mother Elizabeth Marling Thomas of Bellaire, Six Step-Sons; Robert V. Seevers Jr. of Springfield, IN, Rick Seevers of Burlington, NC, Ronald Seevers of Bellaire, Ohio, Richard Seevers of Grove City, Ohio, Roger Seevers of Bellaire, Ohio and Randy Seevers of Philadelphia, PA, a brother Mark Thomas of Bellaire, OH and a sister Kellie Randall Canter of Bridgeport, OH. 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, two nephews, Gregory Thomas and Erik Canter, two nieces, Michelle Thomas Milhoan and Taylar Canter.

Family and friends received Friday 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11a.m with Reverend John Brandenburg officiating.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.

Bellaire Eagles Services 7p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Megan Canter Scholarship Fund c/o Bridgeport High School.
