Vigo John Rotilio, 85, of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday July 24, 2009 in Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire, Ohio.

John was born March 24, 1924 in Benwood, WV. a son of the late Severoni and Virginia Battistelli Rotolio.

He was retired from the former Suburban Motor Freight Company of Bellaire, Ohio, a member of Teamsters Local #697 of Wheeling, WV., an active member of the St. John’s Booster Club and a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Helen Maxine Crow Rotilio, a son Kenneth “Butch” Wooddell, a daughter, Sarah Ronevich, three sisters, Lena Hans, Gina Sostarich and Louise Givens.

Surviving are a son, Michael Cathy Rotilio of Bellaire, OH, two daughters Patty Rotilio of Bellaire, OH and Tina Richard Nolen of Beverly, Ohio, Son-in-law Joseph Ronevich of Bellaire, Ohio, fifteen grandchildren, Several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Monday 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass 9:30a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church Bellaire, Ohio with Monsignor Gene W. Mullett as Celebrant.

Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Vigil service, 2:15p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John’s Booster Club.
