I’m so sorry for your loss. I first met Vicki in the early 80’s when she was a teenager at Lacroft Nazarene Church & my husband & I were in charge of the teens. She was always faithful to our youth group. She had a great smile & contaigous laugh. She would get the giggles & there was no stopping her from laughing. I stayed in touch with her when she got married & had children. Then her children especially Tori attended our church. The last time I saw her in church was a couple of years ago on Christmas eve. I would see her out & about in later years & we would chat. We always exchanged Christmas cards & pictures of our family & kept up with news about one another. She was really proud of her kids & they were her life. She always told me she hoped her health would improve so she could once again come to church. I will always remember her fondly. You are in our prayers.
I’ve known Vicki since high school. We went to Cosmetology together, rode the same bus, lived in the same neighborhood. And the thing I remember the most about her she always had the ability to make me laugh. No matter what was happening she could get me laughing….sometimes hysterically!! Over the years we’ve kept in touch through letters and cards, always talking about our kids, families, and our crazy times. And even after all these years…I would be having a bad day and go home from work and there would be a card or letter from her in the mail….just when I needed it….as if she knew somehow. I will miss my friend….she was a very special person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Vicki, was a women who had the heart of gold. Always willing to help out a friend in need, placing their needs above her own. A true angel that will be forever missed. Not only by her daughter, Victoria, her two sons, Bill and Raymond, and her many friends. But she will be truly and forever be missed by me, her husband, Vencine Walker. May God Bless Her and May Vicki rest in Peace.
