McFadden, Verdon Patrick “Pat” 74, of Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Peterson Hospital.
He was born December 29, 1937 in West Liberty, WV, a son of the late Robert B. and Anna Mildred Ennis McFadden.
He was a former employee of Central Window Cleaning Co., Wheeling, and a member of the Short Creek United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lydia M. Cornell McFadden in 1966, three brothers, Lawrence Ennis, Charles McFadden and Loren Robert McFadden
Surviving are five children, Robert C. McFadden of Ohio; Ruth McFadden of PA; Minnie Thomas Garrison of Wheeling; Patricia Ann Rutan of Wheeling; Bobbi Jo Cunningham of Wheeling; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one brother, Earl T. McFadden of Wheeling; four sisters, Audry L. Mikles of Wheeling; Donna M. Pellen of West Liberty; Carol M. Pethel of Wheeling; Brenda M. Grubba of Wheeling; several nieces and nephews including Donna Rae Wilson of Wheeling.
Friends received 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 with Rev. Glen Baker officiating.
Interment in Short Creek Cemetery, Short Creek, WV.
