Moyock, NC – Timothy Ross Hobson, 52, died Monday, January 16, 2012. Mr. Hobson was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Eldon C. and Madaleen Ruth Snead Hobson. He worked as a construction foreman and enjoyed working on automobiles.

Left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Sherry Hobson of Moyock; fiance, Bea Schaefer of Moyock; children, Chris Hobson of Virginia Beach, Michelle Hobson and husband, Michael of OH, Brian Ross Hobson of Newport News, and Joshua Hobson of NC; sisters, Debbie Leggett of Virginia Beach and Cecila Gillikin of Chesapeake; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family at altmeyer.com.

I am sorry for your loss. Gods word the Bible gives us hope. Isaiah 33:24, and 25:8 tell us that the GOD of Love will soon bring an end to sickness and death. Jesus Boldly promised the resurrection hope, in John 5:21,28,and 29. That means that we will have the prospect of seeing our loved ones again. What a marvelous hope. One of the best foreman that I ever worked with. A very good,understanding, caring family man. You left a good affect on many people, and if you knew or worked with Tim you know what I mean. You will be surely missed. May you REST IN PEACE!!!

Tim was a good man! We worked with tim on job sites in hampton roads and he always hade a smile on his face.he was a good man to work with and will be missed!!
