Thomas Odell Hartman
To the family,
Our condolences to you on the lost of Mr. Tom-that is what he was to us. He was a good person, friend and neighbor who was so kind and generous. Before he fallen ill he would share that wonderful garden of his to us. He also would be so attentive to the yard that I would scolded him and my husband about cutting the lawn before before the sun came out or later in the day, but they never listen and did it anyway. We will miss him!
May the love of God give you all peace.
Uncle Odell was a loved Uncle; My memories; Always singing to Aunt Izzie, “I was looking back to see if you were looking back to see if I was looking back to see if you were looking back at me”; Replacing the tops of his convertibles in Norfolk after a hurricane; Watching the boxing shows when we lived in Norfolk near them; I admired his sharp shooting skills as he took part in contests and winning all those ham’s for my aunt. Uncle Odell was one of my mom’s *star brothers that she loved to talk with before she too went to heaven. He will be missed but be alive to me in my memories. May Aunt Izzie be blessed knowing that others share her lost and are with her in this time of grief. May the Lord be with the entire family and be awarded in His strength that only He can give. My Love Cookie and Tom
