Thomas Kempa, 85 of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Shadyside, Ohio died Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Forest Hill Retirement Community in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
He was born July 15, 1929 in Shadyside, Ohio a son of the late Frank and Anna Spisak Kempa.
Tom was a retired press operator for the International Harvester and a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Francis Kempa and his sister, Mary Ann Jeffries.
Surviving are his brother-in-law, Alan Jeffries of Shadyside, Ohio, two nieces, Kristy Marie Lambert of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Beverly Ann Buck Ramsay of Shadyside, Ohio, one nephew, Rev. Alan T. Jeffries of Bergholtz, Ohio and three great nieces, Jamison Lynn Jeffries, Alison Jenny Ross Patton and Jessica Lee Ramsay.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on
Monday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am with Fr. Samuel R. Saprano officiating. Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.

When we would check on Dad house we would always look up there. I will miss him.
