Thomas J. Nassif, Sr.

NASSIF, Thomas J., Sr, 91, of Wheeling, WV died Thursday March 21, 2002 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling. He was the retired owner-operator of Tom’s Novelty Co, Triadelphia, and a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Wheeling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jane Nelson Nassif, in 1976; his parents, Joseph and Edna Nassif, a brother, Majid James Nassif; and two sisters, Freda Dahrouge and Martha Ballouz. Surviving are two sons, Thomas J. Nassif, Jr and his wife Bonnie, of Wheeling, George M. Nassif and his wife Rose, of Elm Grove; two daughters, E. Jane Nassif Seese and Grand Island, NY, and Emma Hackathorn and her husband, David, of Wheeling; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 and 6-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church with the Rev. Bakhos Chidiac as celebrant. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Wake service will be held Sunday at 7:30 pm
