NEWPORT NEWS – Thomas H. Willis, 65, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008.
He was a 1961 Graduate of Warwick High School. In 1966 Thomas went on to work for Newport News Ship Building for 30 years; in the store room and scrap yard, retiring as the maintenance supervisor. He attended church at Morrison United Methodist Church on Harpersville Road.
He is survived by his father, Thomas G. Willis, of Newport News; and his twin sister, Barbara Willis, also of Newport News.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Riverside – Altmeyer Funeral Home, 7415 River Road, Newport News. The Service will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial taking place in Peninsula Memorial Park.
In lieu of lowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Morrison United Methodist Church building fund, 236 Harpersville Road, Newport News, VA 23601.
