Thomas G. Fry, 52, of Bridgeport, OH formerly of Bellaire, OH died Friday December 6, 2013 at his home.

He was born September 30, 1961 in Bellaire a son of the late Thomas and Sylvia Patrone Fry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Cindy Fry Clegg.

Tom is survived by his children, Quinn Campbell of Benwood, WV, Justin Samantha Fry of Bellaire, Ashley Fry of Columbus, OH, Adam and Cody Fry both of Bellaire; Siblings, Suzan Bill Nixon of Bethesda, OH, Mike Belinda Fry of Bellaire, Sherrie Dave Arnold of Bellaire, Melanie John Dyer of Bellaire; a brother-in-law Donnie Clegg of Bellaire; three grandchildren, Brenen, Lexi and Landon; and several nieces and nephews.

Tom was a Private First Class in the US Army and was honorably discharged. His passions were fishing, NASCAR and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-8 pm at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire with a vigil service at 7:45 pm.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 am at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Huesel as celebrant. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire at the convenience of the family.

Full military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions at 10:15 am Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Dear Family of Tommy Fry,

The loss of a father, grandfather, and brother is very difficult however, the Lord will help you through this time as light perpetual continues to shine upon Tom. My prayers are with you.

Tommy as I knew him was a student in my third grade class at First Ward School.

he was a very friendly and good man I enjoyed talking with him I used to live in the apartments where he lived at but we stayed friends and I’m really gonna miss him :

I was the old manager in the Belmont Height apartments who ALWAYS watched out for Tom I always made sure who went in and out of his apartment was a realative or friend that I knew or he always had coffee and food etc. etc.
