PHILLIPS, Thomas E., 45, of Wheeling, died Sunday, December 8, 2002, at home. He was born November 18, 1957 in Wheeling, the son of the late Allen and Juliann Moneske Phillips. He was employed by the Red Cross, Wheeling, and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling. He was a member of the American Legion and the PAP Club, both of Wheeling. Surviving are four brothers, Michael J. Phillips and his wife, Dolores Dee of Wheeling, Allen E. Phillips of Wheeling, James M. Phillips and his wife, Norma of Virginia Beach, VA, and David R. Phillips and his wife, Gail of Maryland; a sister, Bonita A. Bachman and her husband, Terry of Wheeling; several nephews and nieces. Friends will be received from 7-9 pm Tuesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross of Wheeling or the Wheeling Health Right.

My deepest sympathy to the family.

Tommy was my best friend growing up and I was saddened to hear of his passing. Although we had not seen each other for many years I considered him a dear friend and I will miss him.

On behalf of the entire DeNoble Family, we send our deepest condolences to the family. Tom worked for us off and on over the years. He was an extremely loyal and devoted employee and a dear friend. We were so saddened by his death.
