Thomas A. Noice, 85, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died July 22, 2008 in Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire, Ohio.

Tom was born January 7, 1923 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Albert and Marguerite Watson Noice.

He was retired from the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Bellaire, where he served as Chairman of the Board, Bank President and CEO, After the merger with Progressive Bank he remained on the Board of Directors with Progressive Bank. He was a current member of the Belmont Community Hospital Board of Directors. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Bellaire, Ohio, and a WWII Army Veteran.

Surviving are two daughters, Jody M Tony Proger of Glencoe, Ohio and Josyanne Scott Neudecker of Cincinnati, Ohio, a brother, William L. Rae Noice of Gurnee, IL, a sister, Elizabeth N. Lee Ault of Monroe, Ohio, 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Justin Sells of Shadyside, Ohio, Josh Neudecker, Nikki Neudecker and Zach Neudecker, two great grand daughters, Victoria Sells and Destiny Walters.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire Ohio, where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday with Reverend Lee Ault officiating.

Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church or the Belmont Community Hospital.

Belmont County Council of The American Legion will conduct Military services at 11:45a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

As a nurse at BCH over the years, it was an honor to care for Mr. Noise as a patient. It was an even bigger honor to work for the institution of which he served as a board member but still knew your name.. God Rest His Soul. Candy Wilson, RN
