I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs.Ferrera was one of the nicest people I have known in my life. I have very fond memories of her wonderful cooking while I was growing up next door to her grand daughters. My heart felt sympythies go out to the entire family.

you may not know me but I worked at Good Shephard Nursing Home for a while when your mother was a resident there. She would tell me how beautiful i was and just give me the best smiles one could ever give. being an italian myself and not having my grandparents around for many years now , i felt a really good connection with her that truly couldnt be put into words. I almost felt like i had a little piece of family right there at work. And even on the days when she was in a bad mood I understood , my grandmother was like that too. i would just laugh and say some comforting words and she would start to smile again. And some days I would hope that i would walk in and she would speak some italian. I always loved that I find that language so interesting. I would also see all of the things that the family would post in her room and the gifts that they would bring, and that showed to me that she really had a loving family and it showed how much they really cared for her. I am no longer at the home due to a car accident that prevents me from doing that line of work again. but I do believe that God really meant for me to have that small time to be a cna for a reason, I truly loved and I loved the time I spent with all of the patients as well as Teresa. I keep her in my prayers as well as the family and friends.May God be with you in you time of need and I am glad that I was able to finally share so memories about a great patient of mine. I just happened to come across her name as I was looking to sing a guest book for a friend.

WIth love and God bless,

Simone Ellis
