Angelo Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you on the loss of Susan. I only knew her for a short period of time but was impressed with her courage and perserverance in the battle against cancer. She was a kind and gentle soul . . . one that will surely be remembered in the hearts of many.
Dear Carolyn, Frank & family,
I was so deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your lovely daughter Susan. No parent should ever have to endure a child passing first. Faith in our awesome Lord will sustain you and He will always be there when you call upon Him. I know this because my own dear husband Bob just passed away in April. It is so terribly difficult but I know Bob is now in Heaven and is happy for eternity as is your sweet Susan. I pray for peace and strength for your wonderful family.
With my most sincere sympathy,
Marilyn

Frank, Carolyn, and family,
I am so sorry to learn of Susan’s passing. Please accept my condolences. You were blessed the day Susan was born and Susan was blessed having a wonderful, caring, and loving family. My deepest sympathies to you all.
Frank, Carolyn, and family,
I remember being shocked when I first heard that Susan was ill 14 years ago. Life just doesn’t seem fair sometimes, but it was provident in giving her a wonderful, loving, supportive family. I know it has not been easy.
Susan would stop by my office to talk sometimes. She was always friendly, caring and upbeat. She would show her scars and remove her cap and rub her hand over her hairâÄîalways smiling or making a little joke!
I am saddened by the loss of a sweet person, but inspired by her courage and example, and most of all, by yours!
May God bless and keep you.
God has a new angel. A beautiful, bouncy, spirited one. In my memories, I will always hear that voice yelling at me across a parking lot: “Hi, Mrs Ruppel!” I hope, someday, to hear it again…across a much larger parking lot. Frank and Carolyn, you and all of your wonderful family, remain in our hearts and in our prayers. We love you.
I am a friend of Mike’s from many years ago and I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to Mike, and also to the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
I am so sorry for your loss. Susan’s courage and optimistic attitude was truely remarkable.
Although she was not blessed with long life as most of us, she was blessed with so much, including a wonderful and supportive family.
I have years of memories of examples, her happy-go-lucky, even simple nature in an otherwise sometimes complex world…her sweet, unselfishness…her eternal optimism, and her strong family values are just a few.
It has always been clear that her family is the foundation for all of those things.
I know there is nothing that can take away the pain you must feel, I just wanted to offer my sincerest condolecences and to convey some ways Susan touched my life. Those ways are lasting, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to experience her goodness.
I recently started going back to church with my children and heard Susan’s name mentioned in the prayer list two Sundays ago. I never had a chance to come and see her before her passing. We both went to Kempsville High School and Susan and I spent many a weekends visiting friends of ours the Lees at thier camp ground. She was a wonderful person with a big heart. I will miss her dearly. There will be tears because we miss you, laughter because we remember you, but most of all, there will be love because we knew you. Take care my friend, you are in God’s care and my heart. Love Judi Hoppel
My Prayers and thoughts are with you. May God send you peace during this time of sorrow.
My prayers go out to the Angelo Family in their time of sorrow.
Wishing the family God’s peace.
Co-worker of S. Carter, Liz.
Our prayers are with you and the family. She had a wonderful family to be apart of her time with you. Now it’s God’s time to share her laughter and humor.
Susan & I were on the same swim team years ago and through time, we lost contact. How surprised and saddened I was to read the news yesterday. My prayers and thoughts go to her family members during this time. I’ll always remember her smile and laughter and sincerity in friendship. God’s peace and comfort to you.
Susan was a great friend and she will be deeply missed by us all.
Travel well me friend…

To the Family of Susie & Keith:
We were saddened to hear of Susie’s passing. It was great to see her this summer at Holiday Island. I was so impressed that she remembered my mother and father, my dog’s name, all from over 15 years ago. We so enjoyed sitting around the campfires with Susie, laughing and enjoying the outdoors. She often cut our grass when we didn’t go down for extended periods of time and we have enjoyed returning the favor in recent years. Our deepest sympathies to you all.
