As a new, young employee at the WV DHHR, I was so impressed and at times intimidated by Sue. After participating in a few hearings and getting to know her, I found her to be a good, caring person and I considered her one of my mentors. We shared a love for dogs, along with many memories and associations from our work together at DHHR. She will be missed.

My Dear Cousin Sue, Although we didn’t see each other often, you were in my thoughts every day. You brought so much joy to my life and the lives of all who knew you. I adored you!

To Colleen, you are an amazing sister. Your love and compassion is inspiring. Sue knew how to laugh and we had such a good time together. She and Aunt Peggy taught us so many things and were a huge influence in my life and my brother and sister’s life too. We are grateful. Thank you Colleen for taking such good care of our dear Sue. With love and prayers, Amy
