Dear Ray and family:

We are so saddened about your precious Sue. I know how much you all loved her, and she loved you as well. I pray that God will bring you comfort and peace knowing that she is in Heaven with Him now. I was looking through all of the precious emails she had sent us through the past years, and she was very special indeed.

God bless you.

I’m truely sorry about Aunt Susie, and regret that I cannot be down there. I’m sending my condolences, and want you all to know that I love you, and will be praying for you. We’re all going to miss Susie, but have to keep in mind, like my granny I just lost tuesday, they are in a better place, with no hurts, or pains, and will always be here with us to guide us in our decisions of our hearts.

I am Ervin and Eleanor Leitch’s Daughter. I never got the chance to meet my aunt susie, although I would have loved too. I have heard many good stories of what a good person she was. I just want the family to know that even though I don’t know you guys, I would love to meet my cousins. Please know my prayers are with you all.

I knew Sue from High School in Fort Wayne. We met her a few years ago in Viginia Beach and after 30 some years she hadn’t changed much, except maybe for her beautiful gray hair! She will be missed greatly by her family and friends like myself.

It took me a while to think about what I would write here, because I never got the opportunity to know Aunt Sue.

To the family – It may seem simplistic, but for some reason it summed up what I wanted to say better than I could have in a million words.

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss

What I want to express is that you feel lucky that you had the opportunity to know her, prize whatever she may have taught you about yourself or about life, and live your lives fully, knowing that the blessings therein are a loving remembrance to her.

Losing a love one can be distresing. Therefore, it is important to draw close to God in Prayer, for the Bible promises that “he himself will sustain you” -Psalm 55:22 When we lose our love ones, we miss them very much. For that reason, we can be encouraged by reflecting on the promises that God has given us thru his word the Bible, concerning the hope of seeing our love ones again. I hope that you fine comfort in reading these scriptures. John 11:11-44, John 5:21,28,29 and Revelation 21:4. Our prayers are with your family.

Memories of Sue

My heart goes out

to those who grieve.

The loss of our loved one,

is hard to believe.

A loving mother

to Angie and Kris,

her loving arms

they’ll truly miss.

A special Grandma

to Andrew and Lindsey,

too young to understand

why God took their Meme.

A wonderful woman

to a man named Ray,

who loved and treasured her

each and everday.

To me, she’s Aunt Susie

and though she is gone,

my fond memories

will forever live on.

She was a special woman

and to all I say,

we’ll see her again

in heaven one day.

So grieve no more

for the woman we knew,

God has a plan

for the spirit in Sue.

Love Joy

In loving memory of Aunt Susie

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was very special to us.

We love you all!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember Sue from back when I lived in Va. Beach – and she was amazing then. From what I’ve heard, she’s continued to be an amazing mother and grandmother.

Ray – Mike and I your neighbors across the street are deeply sorry for your lost. We will miss Susie’s positive attitude and cheery disposition. She brought laughter into any room she entered. Evan always enjoyed spending time at your house. He would tell us that he wanted to go over to your house even if Lyndsey was not there because Lyndsey’s Meme always gave him good treats! She truly was a kind, generous and caring human being who will be greatly missed.

Words are so hard to find at a time like this and It’s difficult to understand or find comfort. May God give us all peace and help mend the

hurts as we carry on in the days ahead.

Ray, Angie, Kris and those precious Grandbabies that Aunt Susie

loved and cherished so dearly, May God touch your hearts and hold your hands. And may we all find comfort through Gods grace and love.

~With loving memories~

Distance often intervenes and

keeps us far apart,

but love has no boundaries

when it’s stored within the heart.

Gods most beautiful treasures

are given free.

And they’re ours to cherish

In times of loss,

we often question ‘why’?

But God’s plans are much bigger

than the questions of you and I.

All we can do is trust in his love

and we’ll rejoyce one day

when we meet above.

As for now, we’ll say no goodbyes

For the heart of Susie lives on

through the warmth of her loved

ones eyes.

In her children & grandchildren

through all who hold her dear.

Our cherished memories

will always keep her near.

And Ray’s light shines with

reflections of Sue.

While her beauty remains

through Angela, Kris

and her grandbabies too.

May God bring us comfort

in the days ahead

and soothe our hearts

when tears are shed.

We feel a deep loss

but her memory’s here.

and they’ll remain within

as a part so dear.

{ We love you Aunt Susie }

Love, blessings and

comfort to all.

Julie, Dave
