Steve J. Kochalka

Steve J. Kochalka, 83, of Benwood died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002 in GlenDale, WV. He was a retired employee of the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.; an Army veteran of WW II; a memeber of St. Johns Church and a member of the American Legion Post 46, Benwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Cecelia Garabas Kochalka and a brother Joseph Kochalka. Surviving are his wife, Katie Koslow Kochalka; a son, Tom S. Mary Lee Kochalka; a daughter Nancy Angalich; a sister, Theresa Hobel, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Friends recieved Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am. Interment in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Wheeling.
