Berardi, Stephen James, Jr., 22, of Glen Easton, WV, died Friday, January 27, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born March 9, 1989 in Wheeling, WV.
Stephen was an employee of Consol Energy, McElroy Mine, and a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sharon Berardi.
Surviving are his parents, Stephen J., Sr. and Cathy Atwell Berardi; his fiancée, Mariah Wilson and daughter, Kaylee; a brother, Gregory Lee Berardi of Glen Easton; a sister, Imogene G. Earnest of Glen Easton; paternal grandfather, Stephen J. Berardi of Glen Easton; maternal grandparents, Willard and Beulah “Candy” Atwell of Moundsville; nephew, Hunter Earnest; niece, Sarah Earnest; great-grandmother, Reba Bulian of Benwood; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 3-5 & 7-9 pm Monday and 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville, with Rev. Edward Stafford, TOR, as celebrant.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
