Dear Patty and Stanley,

I’m sorry about the loss of your mother; you did all you could while she was with us. She was a beautiful lady, and is in a better place with God and His Angels.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Dear Patty and Stanly,

I am so sorry to hear that Aunt Stella passed. Our deepest sympathies to you during this difficult time. How precious that I was able to see her and you of course! when my mother and I came to visit; I only wish I were contacting you again under happier circumstances.

There is a poem I’ve read that I find very touching and I hope can bring you some comfort:

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HEAVEN

I still hear the songs, I still see the lights

I still feel the love, on cold wintry nights

I still share your hopes, and all of your cares

I’ll even remind you, to please say your prayers

I just want to tell you, you still make me proud

You stand head and shoulders, above all the crowd

Keep trying each moment, to stay in His grace

I came here before you, to help set your place

You don’t have to be perfect all of the time

He forgives you the slip, if you continue the climb

To my family and friends, please be thankful today

I’m still close beside you, in a new special way

I love you all dearly, now don’t shed a tear

Cause I’m spending my Christmas with Jesus this year.

God bless you. You are in our prayers.

Love,

Michelle, Daniel and Logan Sanchez

My Aunt Stella was the last of my dad’s family of nine siblings to pass away. For me Stella’s passing is the ending of a generation. I will remember her as the very sweet hard working person that she was. I have good memories from all the visits growing up and the more recent ones where I spent time with her cutting her hair and talking. She could certainly remember well the antics of my father and her other younger brothers. I know that Stella did a lot for my grandmother when she was living. In a family of several attention seeking younger brothers, she was a beauty!! My thanks to my cousins Stanley, Patty and Reed for their years of care to Stella.
