Stella M. Dierkes

DIERKES, Stella M. Bobak, 83, of Bethlehem, Wheeling WV, died Wednesday December 29, 2004, at Ohio Valley Medical Center.
Born in Czechoslovakia on December 13, 1921, Stella was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Pauline Kalanek Bobak. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet and a retired employee of the former Hub Department Store. Stella was a member of the Rosary Alter Society at Our Lady of Peace.
In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Bobak. Surviving are her husband, Frank W. Dierkes; one daughter, Carolyn Noffsinger Phelps and her husband Ralph of Charleston WV; one sister, Irene Bernhart of Wheeling; one step grandson Brad Phelps and family of Charleston WV; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Friday, December 31, 2004 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Frank A. O’Kruta as celebrant. Vigil services will be held Thursday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
