Berisford, Stanley J., 75, of Glen Dale, WV, died December 21, 2011 in Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
He was born April 17, 1936 in Sand Hill, WV, the son of the late Everett W. and Elsie E. Francis Berisford.
Mr. Berisford was a retired employee of Triangle Conduit, Glen Dale and a veteran of the National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Jean Berisford.
Surviving are his wife, Norma Jean McDonald Berisford; a son, Fred Berisford; five sisters, Sylvia Shepherd of Sherrard, Violet Pavilky of Lansing, OH, Zelda Koval of St. Petersburg, FL, Freda Blake of Moundsville, and Geneva Lashare of Moundsville; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2011 with Rev. J. Thomas Steele officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.

My condolences to Stanley’s friends and family, I’m very sorry to hear that he had passed. I remember Stanley as a loyal friend all through grade school and high school. He was a good person that is how I remember him.
