My mother and father, Sam and Louise Jones were dear friends of Silas & Estelle. I lost my father last year and my mother has been on a mission to locate Silas knowing that he too was not well. She, just last week, went to his former home to see if the residents knew where she could find Silas. She remembers all the fun times, and talks about them often, that they all had during their camping days. My sincerest condolences to all of Silas’ family members.

We have many fond memories of Silas. What a wonderful chef he was; we spent many hours together at Norview Lodge preparing dinners, etc. for the Order of the Easter Star. He will be missed .
