All our sympathy for the passing of your mother. Milton alway’s remembers her fondly. When there was a get together and she would cook she would alway’s tell him that he “cleaned up well”. She was a great person and a good cook. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
As I listened to the pastor today talk about the Shirley he knew for only 8 years wow what was missed out on before! She was so passionate about her family-children and grand children. What she wouldnt have done for them well, it just couldnt have been done. She was great at everything she did, she taught me a lot. She will be missed. Love you guys!!!

Just a note to say we are praying for you that the Lord will COMFORT YOU and help you during this time of grief. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
In Christ’s Love

Many memories of life on Benwood Hill and all she would do for family and friends. May God bless her and all of her family . She was a great person and friend. As well as a member of our family.
My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. May you cherish the memories your mom left you and find peace knowing that she was a caring lady.
Growing up on Benwood Hill all my life, she was the one person that I probably saw more than anyone especially since she drove the “big yellow school bus”. I’ll never forget our assigned seats she gave us, or how many times she made sure we knew she was in charge. But one thing is for sure, she made sure we were safe in our travels each and every day!!!!
May God bless you and help ease your sorrow.
My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. May you cherish the memories your mom left.
As my bus driver for 9 years bus #77, I still remember the annual assigned seating and when she would play “Friends in low places” by Garth Brooks, everyone would be singing!
May God bless you!
My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you. Yvonne, Carla, Joe, Ron and all your children… my heart aches for you. I know exactly what you are going through. Atleast she finally gets to be with Page again and I’m sure my Pap greeted her with open arms…Lord only knows what kind of trouble they’re getting into up there! LoL! Shirley was an amazing woman who I feel priveleged to say that she was part of my crazy family. She will be missed.
Love you all! <3
Neil and I were very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a great lady and will be missed by all. Love and prayers to all of you! Yvonne, if there is anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Love you!!
Please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of your beloved mother Shirley. I’ve always found solace in the following poem as I hope You will also:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Thinking of you all during this time. May God hold you tightly in his arms and offer you the comfort you need in knowing that Shirely is at peace.
This poem reminded me of your mom and your family…I’ll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers…
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again
