Shirley Mae Jagaczewski, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling.
She was born November 13, 1934 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Jack and Lee Bernhardt.
Shirley graduated from Wheeling High School, Class of 1953 and organized the class reunion data.
Shirley was retired from the former Foodland Grocery Store on Wheeling Island and was a member of the former Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Jagaczewski in 1997.
Surviving are 2 children; Edward L.Patty Jagaczewski, Jr., of Belmont, OH and Janet Lee Bennett of Wheeling, a sister, Carol Jack Paulsen of Martins Ferry, OH and 2 grandchildren; Nicole Todd Heitz of Rayland, OH and James E. Bennett of Wheeling, and four great grandchildren, Shane, Haley and Treyton Heitz of Rayland and Braiden of NY.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St. Wheeling, at 6:00pm on Friday, April 17, 2015.
Memorial contributions may be made to Liza’s Place, 308 Mount St. Joseph Road, Wheeling, WV 26003.
