Age 78

Shirley M. Reagle 78, of St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, Ohio died Monday, November 11, 2002 at Akron City Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on June 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Roy Johnson and Mildred Pike Johnson Holdsworth Bentley.

Living her entire life in the area, Mrs. Reagle worked as a salesperson for several area business including, Thrifty City, Graham & Wagner Monuments and last at the Book and Bible House. She was a member of Pennsylvania Avenue Methodist Church, a reigning Miss East Liverpool in 1941 and belonged to the American Legion Auxillary Post 374 in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Her husband, William D. Reagle, whom she married August 16, 1941, died March 18, 1990.

She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Owen and her husband, Robert of Toronto, Ohio, Arden Seuberling and her husband Kevin of Pine, Colorado and Nannette Smith and her husband, Harry of Hudson, Ohio; a brother, Richard Holdsworth of Tacoma, Washington; a sister, JoAnn Vogt and her husband, Fred of Steubenville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister.

Services will be held at the East Liverpool Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, November 15, 2002 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Proya from Bell Chapel in Steubenville, Ohio officiating.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in East Liverpool on Thursday, November 14, 2002 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
