As I look at the pictures on the web site, I can only think about the years that have passed and how precious each and every moment is. We are closer today than we were yesterday to that grand and glorious homegoing to see our Lord Jesus Christ. I guess that Shirley and Valda are both there and are enjoying those special prayer meetings. Shirley Ford will be missed…I can only hope that WE will see each other more here in this life. Be encouraged in the Lord. He is the Lifter of Our Head. Your family has been such a blessing and it is my honor to have served you. May you always be rich in Christ who hath blessed you with ALL spiritual blessings.

I can’t believe it’s been 9 long years since you’ve been taken away from us. I know heaven rejoices at your presence, while we are here on earth sighing at your absence. Some day we will all be together my sister around the throne of our Lord. I miss you so much my dear Shirley, you can’t imagine the void. There are days I want to call you to shear a story, then I realize you’re absence. I will always love you. Rest in Shalome!
