Saundra B. "Sandy" Thomas
Age: 58

Saundra B. "Sandy" Thomas, 58, of 17th Street, Wellsville, OH died at East Liverpool City Hospital on Saturday, March 13, 2004 after a lengthy illness. She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on August 7, 1945 to the late Harley C. Harrison and Hilda M. Hayes Goldsmith.

Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker living her entire life in this area and attending Destiny House in East Liverpool.

She is survived by a daughter: Sonnie Thomas, with whom she resided; two grandchildren: Brandon and Britne Lyn whom she helped raise; two brothers: Ralph Goldsmith III of East Liverpool, OH and Bob Harrison of East Liverpool, OH as well as a sister: Crystal Julian of Akron, OH.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Steve Huskey of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Wellsville on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 from 2-6PM.

Sonnie – Just remember your Mom was loved by alot of people. Not just older people but mainly by the young ones. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family. Sandy will surely be missed. Also the fudge to. God Bless you all. P.S. Brandon keep that street clean your gram will be watching over you. See loved her grandbabies very much. I was so sorry to hear of you mother’s passing. I rember her as a kind person loved by many. I know it is difficult losing your mom,losing my mom 2yrs ago,but know that she is always with you. You will always have her stength to guide you. Love-Mary Lee
