Sarah R. Franz, 75, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all, a native of Norfolk, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, in her residence.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Franz, and her daughter Donna L. Kiser.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Warren, of Sedley, Va., Michelle Eason, of Sunbury, NC., and her son, Steven Franz of Norfolk., Grandchildren, Rebecca Horton, Kentucky, Sarah Kiser & Dale Kiser of Norfolk, John Yokum, of Ohio, Bo & Luke Eason, of Sunbury, NC, and her sister Christine Peters of Chesapeake, and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m at the funeral home chapel.
